Retail Leaders’ Boardroom Lunch Series

Retail Directions is again partnering with the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) to run a series of six executive boardroom lunches in 2020, in both Melbourne and Sydney. By invitation only, the events provide attendees with access to an impressive selection of guest speakers, as well as exclusive industry intelligence and insights.

ARA Retail Leader’s Lunch: Goods for the Greater Good with Good360
Thursday, 14 November in Melbourne at QT Hotel

Increasingly, retailers are looking for innovative ways to engage staff, meet community and sustainability objectives. Good360, an Australian charity, has been working with leading Australian brands and retailers to help them achieve this.

The discussion focused on the role of Good360 as a matchmaker connecting surplus brand-new goods to Australians who need them most and at the same time keeping surplus goods out of waste disposal.

Retail Directions partnered with Acurus and Acer for one of Melbourne’s most iconic Spring Carnival Events – Kennedy Oaks Day. Our guests enjoyed this stunning day at our private Elevated Trackside Marquee, just past the winning post with plenty of fillies, frocks, food, and a flutter or two.


ARA Retail Leader’s Lunch: Assistant RBA Governor Michele Bullock
Friday, 6 September in Sydney at QT Hotel
Wednesday, 16 October in Melbourne at Cecconi’s 

Michele is responsible for the RBA’s work on financial stability, including the production of the twice-yearly Financial Stability Review, as well as the Bank’s oversight of the payments system. In the lunch series, she covered a range of economic issues and the potential implications for Australian retailers. Below is footage from the Sydney event.
