About the roles

A software engineer is a person who applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of computer software.  As a Software Engineer at Retail Directions, you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing and maintenance of software and database component outputs during the development phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You’ll also be required to review and maintain the technical documentation that is produced during the SDLC, and if required, to maintain and provide resolutions to enquiries raised by clients with respect to the software as developed.
